Ms. Shraddha Adityavir Singh (Assistant Professor)

Ms. Shraddha Adityavir Singh has a Masters and an MPhil in English from the University of Delhi. She has taught language and literature, and literary theory for nearly a decade at various colleges under University of Delhi. She has also taught postgraduate courses in the Department of English, Arts Faculty, University of Delhi. Her areas of research are contemporary literature, literary theory and Canadian studies.

In 2008, she visited Canada on the Commonwealth Fellowship as a researcher hosted by Concordia University, Montreal. In 2009, she presented her research findings at the World Seminar on Canada, Ottawa; certified as one of the 16 upcoming scholars in the world working on Canada-related issues. She has several national and international academic publications, and has presented papers at various national and international seminars and conferences. She has also worked on several international projects funded by the International Council for Canadian Studies, Ottawa and Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute, New Delhi. Ms. Singh has been actively involved in the administrative functioning of the college. She is currently the Convener of College Annual Day, Member of Student Aid Committee, and Media Committee, and Editor of the College Annual Report. Ms. Singh is a member of British Association for Canadian Studies, based in London, United Kingdom. She is also a member of FORTELL (Forum for Teachers of English Language and Literature), New Delhi, India.
