Dr. Kishore Kumar Das holds a PhD in African Literature from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Roorkee. He was awarded Fulbright doctoral and professional research fellowship to complete his research at the Department of Comparative Literature, Indiana University, USA. He has edited the first volume of Research in World Literature, a peer reviewed international journal published by SIFE, New Delhi. He is widely published in many national and international journals. He has authored two books, Critical Perspectives on Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart, and Critical Perspectives on Chinua Achebe’s A Man of the People. His area of research interest includes African Literature, British Renaissance Literature, Maithili Literature, and Literature and Philosophy.
