Dr. Rana Sami holds PhD from Aligarh Muslim University. She has taught at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, Aligarh Muslim University, Jesus and Mary College, and Zakir Husain College of University of Delhi. She has more than three decades of undergraduate teaching experience. Her areas of interest are 18th century Literature and Victorian Novel. She has authored a book entitled Novels of Social Criticism: A Case Study of the Novels of Mrs. Gaskell. She has been the staff advisor to the English magazine Rambler for one year. She has been on various college committees over the years. She has been the college Proctor and President of the Committee Against Sexual Harassment. She was member of the College Sports Committee for five years.
